Part-Time Seasonal Market Associate
Barn Owl Garden Center is looking for a friendly, dependable Part-Time Seasonal Market Associate to join our team. This position will primarily support The Market and is a great fit for someone who enjoys working with customers and staying busy in a hands-on retail environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide friendly and helpful customer service
- Operate the point-of-sale system and process customer purchases
- Stock and restock produce and other market products
- Keep The Market clean, organized, and presentable
- Shuck, bag, and prepare sweet corn for customers
- Monitor product displays and help keep inventory organized
- Assist with other Market and Garden Center tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Comfortable interacting with customers
- Dependable, organized, and willing to take initiative
- Comfortable learning and operating a point-of-sale system
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Weekday availability is required
- Previous retail or customer service experience is helpful but not required
