Feathered Saddle Coffee at Barn Owl Garden Center

Garden Center Setting
We're looking for an experienced barista to help grow and shape Feathered Saddle Coffee, a brand-new café inside Barn Owl Garden Center. This is a great opportunity to be part of something from the ground up , bringing high-quality coffee to a beautiful, plant-filled environment.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve exceptional espresso drinks, drip coffee, and specialty beverages
- Develop new recipes and house-made syrups
- Maintain and clean coffee equipment, ensuring smooth daily operations
- Manage inventory and coordinate with suppliers
- Assist with café marketing , social media images, seasonal promotions, and menu boards
- Open and close the café independently
- Provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service
- Handle cash transactions accurately
- Adjust service during busy garden center events

Qualifications
- 1+ year of specialty coffee experience required
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and recipes
- Ability to work independently and problem-solve
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 30 lbs
- Weekend availability required (some holidays)
- Food handler's certification (or willingness to obtain)
