WHO: The Daisy Garden Club is hosting this event, and it is open to the public.
WHAT: Join us for a seminar on the fundamentals of backyard birding, led by Clark Hudmon, General Manager of Barn Owl Garden Center in Carol Stream. At Barn Owl, we have a passion for birds and blooms, and we’re excited to explore another vibrant aspect of our backyard: Birding!
Topics to be covered:
Identifying birds commonly found in the Chicago area and those we aim to attract
Choosing the best feed for various bird species to create a welcoming environment
Tips and strategies for attracting a diverse range of birds beyond providing seed and a feeder
Incorporating plants into your yard to enhance bird attraction
An interactive session for discussions, chats, and answering questions at the end of the presentation.
